SS5 Stainless Steel Free Float Steam Traps

We offer the TLV SS5N stainless steel mechanical steam trap with BSPT threaded and PN25/40 flanged ends in sizes 1/2" - 1". These traps feature a full welded maintenance-free design as well as a stainless steel free float mechanism, this works by moving with condensate flow, rising to open the valve to drain the condensate and falling to close the valve when steam enters the trap.

All SS5 free float steam traps have a 3-point sealing which ensures a steam tight seal, they also feature a built-in strainer to protect internal components as well as a bi-metal air vent for automatic air venting and quick start-up. A number of orifice sizes are available to suit different differential pressures, for horizontal pipework, up to 800kg/h discharge capacity.
