EN 10255 steel tube was previously known as BS 1387 steel tube and before that started life as BS789:1938. This product is known in many guises some calling it gas list, blue band, red band, steam tube among others. We provide our customers with EN 10255 steel tube in red primer coated, self-colour and galvanised finishes, in medium and heavy grade and of course either threaded BSP Taper or plain ended. EN 10255 steel tube has a wide variety of uses and can be found in many pressure pipework systems across the United Kingdom and Europe. In addition, if you look at schools and public buildings you will see EN 10255 steel tube in its galvanised form as galvanised handrail.
