TLV's steam pressure reducing valves are designed to control steam or air pressure. They provide the set pressure even when flow rates fluctuate. Selection can be made from a range of models, including pilot operated models, direct acting models and those with integral separators and steam traps; to suit any objective or application.
High precision pressure reducing valves for process steam applications use a separator with a steam trap and a shock-absorbing spherical piston to yield a greater flow rate. The basic configuration of a pressure reducing valve for air is the same as those for steam, so it too yields a higher flow rate.
