TLV J3SX Stainless Steel Free Float Steam Traps

J3SX and JF3SX stainless steel mechanical free float steam traps from TLV come in sizes up to 1” (25mm) with BSPT threaded or PN25/40 flanged ends to EN 1092-1. These TLV steam traps are available with a variety of differential pressure ranges and up to a 760kg/h discharge capacity. All J3SX steam traps feature a built-in strainer to protect internal components and use a free-float mechanism.
The free float rises and falls with condensate flow, rising to open the valve to discharge condensate and falls to close the valve when steam enters the trap, it’s spherical nature provides infinite sealing surfaces to reduce wear and extend service life. TLV’s J3SX also includes a thermostatic X-element air vent with fail open, it ensures a quick start-up and automatically vents air until close-to-seam temperature.
