HDG galvanised malleable iron backnuts to BS EN 10242:1995 are available from stock, we offer sizes 1/4" (8mm) - 3" (80mm) nominal bore. Our galvanised locknuts have all been manufactured by Jinan Meide, bear the BSI kitemark and come female BSPT taper threaded to ISO 7-1.
Our BS EN 10242 backnuts are 25 bar (PN25) pressure rated at up to 120°C with a full operating temperature range of -20°C - 300°C. Often used in conjunction with other galvanised malleable iron fittings and BS EN 10255 tube in systems handling compressed air, unleaded fuels and non-potable (drinking) water among others.
