A full range of black carbon steel sch80 close taper nipples to ASME B16.11 can be ordered here on our website, this includes sizes 1/4” (8mm) – 4” (100mm) nominal bore. These pipe nipples have been manufactured from ASTM A106 seamless carbon steel tube and conform to ASME B16.11:2016 and BS 3799:1974.
These tubular pipe fittings come with male BSPT taper threads to BS EN 10226-1 (ISO 7-1) and are 3000lb/psi (206 bar) pressure rated with an operating temperature range of 0°C – 425°C. ASME B16.11 barrel nipples are ideal for high pressure and temperature installations such as hot-oil, fracking, petroleum or chemical systems.
