Sockets (Plain/Threaded)

SO32 ABS plastic plain/threaded sockets from Comer or Onyx are available to order here on our website in sizes between 1/2" (DN15) and 4" (DN100), they're available for delivery across the UK mainland and abroad if arranged in advance. All of our SO32 sockets come with female BSPP parallel threaded ends, these conform to the BS EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1 standards, they also come with plain ends for solvent welding in conjunction with our ABS solvent cement (available separately), all sizes also feature an ambient pressure rating of 10 bar (PN10).

The smooth interior bore of these fittings means they offer excellent flow characteristics while the ABS material offers resistance to chemicals, abrasion and impact with makes them great for use on non-potable water systems, food production, sewage treatment and many others. The full operating temperature range for the SO32 plain/threaded sockets is -40°C - 80°C.
