Medium Galvanised Steel Pipe EN 10255

We offer a full range of hot dipped galvanised (HDG) mild steel pipe and tube to BS EN 10255:2004 from stock all of which is dual certified to the BS EN 10217-1:2002 standard. Medium grade galvanised tube is available in full random 6.5m and half random 3.25m lengths with plain, BSPT screwed and socketed or grooved ends in sizes between 1/2” (15mm) and 6” (150mm) nominal bore. All our steel tube to EN 10255 is manufactured in Europe by Borusan Mannesmann or Yucel Boru and can be supplied with 3.1 mill test certification to BS EN 10204:2004.

Medium walled galvanised pipe and tube is most commonly used in conjunction with FastClamp handrail fittings to create galvanised handrail structures but is also suitable for use on a wide range of other installations. Other uses for medium wall galvanised tube include compressed air and non-potable water systems. The material we offer in this range is also compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU.
