The Albion Art231 is a robust and reliable gate valve designed for potable water and general fluid handling applications. It features a ductile iron GGG50 body and bonnet with a protective epoxy coating and an EPDM gasket for secure sealing. The valve is operated manually via a handwheel and uses a non-rising stainless steel 316 stem with EPDM seals for long-lasting performance.

Fitted with PN16 flanged ends to BS EN 1092-1, the Art231 includes an EPDM-coated ductile iron disc with resilient seating, ensuring tight shut-off. It is WRAS approved for use with drinking water and pressure rated to 16 bar at up to 80°C. The valve complies with EN 558-1 Series 3 for face-to-face dimensions and operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 80°C.
