Plugs

Square head solid plugs in forged galvanised mild steel are available from stock, all of these pipe fittings are manufactured to BS EN 10241:2000 by Delcorte within Europe. Our EN 10241 solid plugs are male BSPT taper threaded and available from stock in sizes 1/8" (6mm) – 3" (80mm) NB. These fittings are also commonly known as wrought iron fittings in line with the older BS 1740 standard.

BS EN 10241 steel fittings offer high tensile strength making them suitable for a range of processes and mediums, HDG galvanised fittings are often installed with BS EN 10255 steel pipe to be used with high-pressure non-potable water or compressed air. These fittings are 25 bar (PN25) pressure rated with a maximum operating temperature of 230°C.
