Unions

Socket unions in ABS plastic can be ordered here on our website in sizes between 1/2" (DN15) and 4" (DN100) nominal bore with plain or threaded ends, our full range is available for delivery across the UK mainland and can be found below. All of these ABS socket unions have been manufactured by Comer Italy or Onyx in accordance with the BS 5392-1 standard for ABS pipe fittings.

The operating temperature range is -40°C - 80°C for all of these pipe fittings. The three main products we offer in this range are the UN81, UN82 and UN72 socket unions, the UN81 socket union comes with female BSPP parallel threads to BS EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1, they're also PN10 (10 bar) pressure rated, the UN83 comes with plain ends for solvent welding using our ABS solvent cement (available separately), these unions are 15 bar (PN15) pressure rated. We also offer a smaller selection of socket unions with plain and threaded ends, these UN72 sockets are 10 bar pressure rated.
