Galvanised Handrail Quality Assurance

The Fastclamp range of galvanised handrail fittings is manufactured from malleable iron castings to BS EN 1563:2011 and hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 as standard or in ductile iron where stated. The range requires no welding or drilling and is tightened by the use of a hexagon key on special setscrews that embed into the tube. Fastclamp fittings will support an axial load of 900kg when tightened to a torque of 39Nm.

Fastclamp galvanised handrail fittings can also be supplied in a powder-coated finish to RAL standard colours, subject to quantity and availability from the coaters. They’re primarily used with galvanised, plain-ended steel tubes to BS EN 10255:2004 with a minimum wall thickness of 3.2mm.
