Tap Connectors

We offer copper solder ring tap connectors to BS EN 1254-1 from Masterflow, this includes a straight and a 90 degree version. Our solder ring fittings are WRAS approved and contain embedded lead-free solder to ISO 9453. These copper fittings are female BSPP threaded, PN16 rated at up to 30°C, their operating temperature range is 0°C – 110°C.

Solder ring fittings are normally used with BS EN 1057 copper tube and are easy to install, just heat the ends using a blowtorch, the embedded solder will melt to create a waterproof joint. These fittings are ideal for use with hot and cold water as well as potable (drinking) water, because of this they’re popular in the plumbing and heating industry.
