The Genebre Art0340 female flat-faced union is cast from high quality AISI 316 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability for plumbing, industrial, and process pipework systems. It features a flat sealing face with a PTFE gasket, providing a reliable, leak-tight connection between threaded pipe sections.

With female BSPP parallel threaded ends manufactured to ISO 7-1 (EN 10226-1) standards and built to ISO 4144:2003, this stainless steel union is suitable for water, steam, and a variety of industrial fluids, with a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar (PN20) at up to 40°C and an operating temperature range of -25°C to 180°C. Flat-Faced vs Conical (V) Unions:

Flat-faced unions use a smooth sealing surface with a PTFE gasket, making them ideal for low-to-medium pressure applications and easy disassembly. Conical (V-shaped) unions provide a metal-to-metal seal for higher pressure or temperature applications. Both allow threaded pipe connections but are selected based on system requirements.
