The Genebre Art0312 hexagon backnut is cast from high quality AISI 316 (CF8M) stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability in plumbing, industrial, and process pipework systems. Its hexagonal design allows for secure tightening, ensuring a reliable lock on BSPP threaded fittings and preventing loosening in pressurised systems.

Featuring female BSPP parallel threads manufactured to ISO 7-1 (EN 10226-1) standards and conforming to ISO 4144:2003, this stainless steel backnut is suitable for water, steam, and a variety of industrial fluids. Width across flats is 6.2mm, with a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar (PN20) at up to 40°C and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 220°C.
