The Albion CSU female cone seat union is cast from high quality AISI 316 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance in plumbing, industrial, and process pipework systems. Its conical (cone seat) sealing face creates a metal-to-metal connection for high integrity, leak-tight sealing in higher pressure or temperature applications.

Featuring female BSPP parallel threaded ends manufactured to ISO 7-1 (EN 10226-1) standards and built to ISO 4144:2003, this stainless steel union is suitable for water, steam, and various industrial fluids, with a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar (PN20) at up to 40°C and an operating temperature range of -25°C to 180°C.

Conical vs Flat-Faced Unions:

Conical (cone seat) unions provide a metal-to-metal seal, ideal for higher pressure or temperature systems. Flat-faced unions, in contrast, use a PTFE gasket for lower-to-medium pressure applications. Both allow secure BSPP threaded pipe connections and are selected based on system requirements.
