SO18 ABS Reinforced Plastic Plain x BSP Female Socket

The SO18 reinforced ABS socket is designed to provide a strong and reliable transition between an imperial solvent weld connection and a female BSPP threaded outlet. Featuring a plain female solvent weld end and a female BSPP parallel threaded end, this fitting is ideal where a secure threaded connection is required within a ABS pressure system.

This fitting combines an imperial pipe connection with an imperial (inch) designated BSPP threaded outlet, making it suitable for installations where imperial ABS systems need to connect to threaded pipework or equipment. Manufactured from high quality ABS and fitted with a stainless steel reinforcing ring for added strength at the threaded connection, the SF18 conforms to BS 5392-1. Rated to PN10 (10 bar) at 20°C and suitable for operating temperatures from 0°C to 60°C, it is well suited to water treatment, irrigation, and general industrial applications. Compatible solvent cement for installation is available separately.
