The Genebre Art0290 hexagon head plug is cast from high quality AISI 316 (CF8M) stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance in plumbing, industrial, and process pipework systems. Its hexagonal head allows for easy installation and tightening with a spanner, making it ideal for sealing off pipe ends securely.

Featuring male BSPT taper threads manufactured to ISO 7-1 (EN 10226-1) standards and conforming to ISO 4144:2003, this stainless steel plug is suitable for water, steam, and a variety of industrial fluids. Maximum operating pressure is 20 bar (PN20) at up to 40°C, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 220°C. A square head version is also available in the same range for applications requiring a different wrench interface.
