Hexagon Reducing Nipples

Mech branded galvanised malleable iron hexagon reducing nipples to BS EN 10242 are available here in sizes up to 3" x 2" NB. All our cast malleable iron fittings have been manufactured to BS EN 10242:1995 by Jinan Meide and bear the BSI Kitemark. These reducing hexagon nipples are male BSPT taper threaded to ISO 7-1 and come with a hot-dip galvanised (HDG) finish.

Galvanised malleable iron pipe fittings are all 25 bar (PN25) pressure rated at up to 120°C and have a full operating temperature range of -20°C - 300°C. These pipe fittings are suitable for systems handling a range of mediums including non-potable water, compressed air, unleaded fuel and more, they’re often used with mild steel tube to BS EN 10255.
