End Caps

We offer Mech branded end caps in HDG galvanised malleable iron from stock, manufactured to BS EN 10242:1995 by Jinan Meide and available in sizes 1/4” (8mm) - 4” (100mm) nominal bore. All of our malleable iron end caps are BSI Kitemarked and female BSPT taper threaded to ISO 7-1, this ensures a strong seal while using less jointing compound.

These cast malleable iron pipe fittings are rated for up to 25 bar (PN25) pressure at up to 120°C, their full operating temperature range is -20°C - 300°C. Galvanised malleable iron fittings are often paired with BS EN 10255 mild steel pipe in systems handling compressed air, unleaded fuels and non-potable (drinking) water among others.
