Socket Unions

We can supply an extensive range of socket unions in UPVC plastic with plain or threaded ends in sizes between 1/2" (DN15) and 4" (DN100) nominal bore depending on the connection type required. All of these unions can be found here on our website and can be ordered for delivery across the UK mainland, all of the UPVC socket unions we offer have been manufactured to the highest standards under stringent quality control systems by Comer or Onyx, they also conform to the BS 4346-1:1969 standard for UPVC pipe fittings and tube.

The excellent chemical resistance and abrasion resistant nature of UPVC plastic makes them excellent for use on a wide range of installations. We offer 3 main ranges, the first being our plain socket unions (UN83) which come with a 15 bar (PN15) pressure rating and plain solvent welding ends for installation using UPVC solvent cement, we also offer a selection of UN81 threaded unions with female BSPP threads to BS EN 10226-1 and ISO 7-1, these are PN10 rated and finally a range of UN72 plain/threaded unions, also 10 bar pressure rated. A small number of UN80 UPVC plastic plain socket unions are available with metric sizing.
