C17 Ground Support

We can supply the C17 ground support from FastClamp in sizes between 1" (25mm) and 1 1/2" (40mm) nominal bore, these handrail fittings are cast from malleable iron, have a HDG galvanised finish and conform to BS EN 1562:2012. C17 ground supports are permanently set into the ground at a depth of 30cm to provide a base for vertical handrail tubes, these tubes can then be removed as and when required.

These supports are designed for use with in galvanised handrail systems with BS EN 10255 steel tube, of which medium walled material with plain ends is recommended. Posts are secured into the fitting using a built in grub screw, this requires nothing other than a standard Allen key or wrench.
