Specifying the wrong actuated ball valves can have far-reaching effects on your process system, but specifying the correct ones needn’t be an impossible task. There are many process requirements to consider, is the valve the correct size for the required flow rates? Is the actuator correctly sized for flow, pressure and temperature? Incorrect torque values can cause serious stress on the valve stem resulting in valve failure and downtime that businesses can ill afford in these times of austerity.
